Studio Monitors

Sottovoce Audio professional monitoring systems are carefully designed and manufactured to reach the highest standards in sound quality and craftsmanship.

Why do you need a high quality monitoring system?

You take hundreds of decisions every time you record, mix or master a production. You trust your brain and your ears. But, what else? Room acoustics, of course, is the most serious deal. Then it comes the monitoring system. It is like the window between music and you. And, of course, you need to trust it too. That is why we, at Sottovoce Audio, are deeply involved in the design and manufacture of only very high quality studio monitors.

Faithful sound reproduction

Sottovoce Audio professional studio monitors are only made for accurate sound reproduction. All of our systems are designed with the same principles: clear, neutral and uncolored tonal reproduction and lifelike dynamic capabilities. You can listen to different Sottovoce Audio monitors and you will always find the same sound behind: just the sound of your music, not the speakers!

Ease of spatial integration

Many of the benefits of a high quality loudspeaker can be lost without an optimal loudspeaker selection or without a proper placement in your studio. Sottovoce Audio loudspeakers are designed taking care of the needs of small and large professional studios, and keeping in mind the placement possibilities in a demanding space like a professional studio.

High reliability

A professional sound engineer needs a professional tool: an always trustworthy tool for present and future works. Sottovoce Audio professional monitoring systems are carefully designed and manufactured to meet the highest standards in sound quality and craftsmanship. We know that you do not want nothing less.

More: the benefits of active amplification

Through built-in amplifiers we can achieve the power needs of the loudspeaker in a compact package, improving not only the dynamic response but also the ease of integration of the system. Placing the power stage very near the drivers allows us to maximize the damping factor of the amplifier, thus reaching a better low frequency time control of the bass units. Another of the benefits of this technique is the lower intermodulation distortion achieved, because each of the amplifiers works only in the bandwidth of its high, mid or low frequency driver.
