Through built-in amplifiers we can achieve the power needs of the loudspeaker in a compact package, improving not only the dynamic response but also the ease of integration of the system. Placing the power stage very near the drivers allows us to maximize the damping factor of the amplifier, thus reaching a better low frequency time control of the bass units. Another of the benefits of this technique is the lower intermodulation distortion achieved, because each of the amplifiers works only in the bandwidth of its high, mid or low frequency driver.
